- Active DAS is an installation inside a building that ensures the appropriate level of radio signal using radio modules connected by optical fibre. It is possible to separate the building in which the DAS installation is planned from the base stations of mobile operators.
- Passive DAS is an installation inside a building that ensures the appropriate signal level throughout the whole facility. The installation enables the distribution of a radio signal throughout the whole building from the room where the operators' base stations are located.
- Hybrid DAS is an installation inside a building that combines the features of an active and passive installation.
